    The Argentine superstar made his way to the United States in the summer of 2023 having starred in Europe for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. Messi agreed to an initial two-and-a-half year deal.

    Inter Miami boss Javier Mascherano told reporters when asked for an update on Messi’s future: “To sign Jordi for the next two years is important to show stability, and hopefully, in a few weeks we can have some news about Leo. I think it will be very, very important for the club, the fans, and for MLS.”
